I live in a village so I’m a villager. Many people think that it is a pity to live in the countryside but I think it’s lucky to be born there.
In the countryside many people including my parents are not well educated and they’re poor. However when I was a child they taught me the first lesson that was important in my life. “We are poor but we can live with smiles.” They try their best to send us to school. Even though they’re as poor as a church mouse they never give up offering us a chance to receive education. In face of difficulties they never say no.
In the village there are green trees growing fragrant flowers blooming and clear rivers flowing around. Birds fly up and down; animals jump here and there; wheat plants dance in the wind. What beautiful sceneries they are!
When my unfriendly classmates laugh at me at school I say nothing. I don’t care about anything they may say or think for I love my village deeply. She has given me spiritual support. I don’t compare my classmates’ parents with mine. But I will compare my future to theirs. I will make every effort to improve my school records. As a saying goes “He who laughs last laughs best.” I’m sure I’ll be the one who laughs best.
No matter where I go I will never forget the village where I was born and brought up.
My father was born in 1940.He was a son of a teacher. He lived in Sichuan Province when he was young,Later he left for Xinjiang at the age of twenty, and has lived there until now.Myfather is thin, not tall, and has a serious-looking face.Though he's sometimes bad=temered,he is a very good man at heart. He shows deep concern for others and often helps them out of their difficulties. For this reason his colleagues and our neighbours like him very much. They call him a man of Leifeng type.My father works as an engineer in a machinery plant. He immerses himself in his word all day long, always forgetting to stop for a rest.So he is said to be "a tireless man".In the plant his main task is designing new machines and improving the old ones.some of the machines he has designed are being exported to foreign countries. The old machines he has improved operte well.My father is a qualified engineer.I was told that he will be promoted to be a chief engineer soon.I love my father.I wish him good luck.
My mother is 38 years old, but she never tells others how old she is. She says she just doesn¡¯t want them to know about it! My mother is a well-known doctor in our area. She works hard. She often gets up very early in the morning and rushes to the hospital to look after her patients. She is kind to her patients and treats them the way she treats her family. Sometimes I wonder whom she loves more, her patients or me.
My father is 40 years old. He has short hair, big eyes and a small mouth. He is my best friend.
My father is a teacher. Just like my mother, he is very busy. He doesn¡¯t have any holidays or weekends. Every morning he goes to school very early and stays with his students until late in the afternoon. It seems that he never gets tired! His students love and respect him. He always tells my mother how good it is to be a teacher, because his students make him feel young. He thinks my mother should be a teacher, too! But so far she hasn¡¯t taken his advice.
I will be a new student in my father¡¯s school this summer. I will work harder and I hope one day I can be a good doctor like my mother.
